Jacob S: The Stages of Acting

Today, we are joined by Jacob Seelochan. He is an upcoming actor in London.

Jacob is an actor and creative born in Nottingham, and a recent graduate of The Central School of Speech & Drama.

His debut short film, A Casting Room, explored the complexity of being mixed race in the acting industry, and was a finalist at Pinewood Studios' Lift-Off Festival 2020.

Jacob’s Screen credits include Shadow & Bone (Netflix), My Father’s Shed (Hope Theatre) and Vertigo (Theatre503). Stage credits include Dear Elizabeth (Gate Theatre), Nevergreen (Arcola Theatre), Don’t Touch Me (Leicester Curve) and Tom Brown’s Schooldays (Union Theatre).

We discuss Catholic schools, acting schools, gay identity, and representation in film.
